Associate Advisor

Patriot Investment Management is looking for an Associate Financial Advisor to join our team. As an Associate Financial Advisor, you will build long-term relationships with clients, while offering guidance and providing solutions to help them meet their financial goals. You should be able to prioritize multiple projects, conduct themselves in a professional manner, and enjoy working in a team-oriented environment.

Description
  • Participate in meetings with Lead Advisors.
  • Act as a backup for Lead Advisors on advisory questions from clients.
  • Prepare and make recommendations on client investments.
  • Assist in the review of client portfolios.
  • Support Lead Advisors with client communications and follow up tasks.
  • Answers the phones to assist clients with needs.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Candidates must demonstrate the following:
  • 4-year degree preferred.
  • Series 65 license or CFP preferred.
  • 1 – 3 years of financial industry experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills required to develop team and client relationships.
  • Professional presence and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and process.

Paraplanner

Patriot Investment Management is looking for an experienced Paraplanner professional to join our team. They will be responsible for assisting lead advisors with client meetings, setting up financial plans, implementing client changes and supporting client reviews. They should be able to prioritize multiple projects, conduct themselves in a professional manner, and enjoy working in a team-oriented environment.

Description
  • Collect, organize, and review data gathered from clients for investment, retirement, tax, education, and insurance planning.
  • Ensure that preparation for all client meetings is complete.
  • Attend client meetings as needed.
  • Field basic and general financial questions from clients.
  • Process new account paperwork, account transfers, deposits/withdrawals, and beneficiary changes among other things.
  • Records client inquires including service changes, new account opening, money movement, trading, etc. in CRM.
  • Assist with client communication and follow up tasks.
  • Answers the phones to assist clients with needs.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Candidates must demonstrate the following:
  • 4-year degree preferred.
  • Must obtain Series 65 license.
  • 1 – 3 years of financial industry experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills required to develop team and client relationships.
